Scott Nicholas is Vice President of Project Formation for the Linux Foundation. Scott supports the formation and launch of open source, standards, data and other open projects. Scott has set up numerous projects across the technology stack, with launched projects including LF Deep Learning (now LF AI & Data), the Open Voice Network, AgStack Foundation, LF Networking, Node.js Foundation, CD Foundation and various specification projects including the Graph QL specification project and the Trust over IP Foundation. Scott received his B.A. in Russian and History from Tufts University and his law degree from Stanford Law School. Scott’s professional experience spans both the legal and financial aspects of technology, having worked as both a corporate attorney and as an investment analyst covering the technology sector. Scott joined The Linux Foundation in 2015.
